Happy New year and no I haven't had to log in again x Sheena x

Dear Prada47

And a happy and healthy new year to you and your loved ones.

I am sorry I cannot answer your question as to why this happens but just to add that it happens to me all the time.

So I really didn’t notice if it happened on the turn of a new year or not.

The main thing is as long as I can get back logged onto the sites I’m ok with it.

It’s like the pesky 4 digit codes { PIN numbers} for everything, I have lost count on how many times I have tried to get money from those disagreeable hole in the wall machines, using the numbers for my laptop login { put any object here that needs a PIN number to function}.

Take care

If you’re using a different device, a different browser or through a different router many sites will ask for your full security login when used for the first time. The same happens if you clear your browsing history/cookies on your device. HNY.

I belong to four forums and have another email account. Two forums frequently log me out for no good reason - particularly if it is while you are typing a post or response. My second email randomly logs me out on one device but I cannot fathom why.

All this reminds me of when I was working as software craftsman in the late eighties. A number of us used to work off a midi computer. One guy was always moaning about anything and everything. One day I changed his login screen so it asked him if he wanted to login or log out. When he chose login it came back with "You may only log out". I changed the others to work as expected. Boy was he livid!

Nothing to worry about. As Lonmayloon mentioned, it will happen when you use a different device, clear browser cookies or when browser cookies expire.
