FUMING

Hi. Im 49years old, type 1 diabetic, when I was 42 I was having chest pain had various tests and told I had heart disease and angina I was put on a variety of tablets and given gtn. In 2016 I had another angiogram which showed I needed a double bypass, that got done in 2017. In 2018 I had an mri which showed i had had a silent heart attack, and another angiogram which showed the double bypass hadnt fully worked. I recently went to my cardiologist as I was having quite a few angina attacks and its causing me alot of distress, he said have another angiogram and looking at my previous pictures I would have stents or be booked in for another bypass. 2 weeks ago I had an angiogram, not by that cardiologist, to be told my arteries are narrow but he wont do a stent or another bypass, carry on with tablets and be reviewed in clinic. On Friday I received a copy of the letter that goes to my gp of which in that it said. "I am discharging her from cardiology." I havent even had a clinic appointment and personally been told. Absolutely fuming and very upset and feel neglected!!!!!!

I am so sorry to hear what you have been and now going through I would be fuming to

I would certainly contact my Doctor and even suggest I see another Consultant

I would also be contacting the Consultants Secretary asking for a full explanation how I can be discharged when I have not even had my final appointment and that you disagree

Second opinion though is what I would be pushing for and we are entitled to them and don't give in till you feel content with your treatment or maybe in this case your lack of treatment
