On the second day of Christmas the hospital gave to me a cardio CT booking and amlodipine...π
Sadly, nearly 2 years post double CABG angina pains have started to return (bloody cold doesnt help π‘!). So back to hospital, a cardio CT booked and a new pill to add to the multitude I already have with my morning weetabix (hmm yummy) . Have to thank my GP and cardiology department, in the midst of a covid winter the turnaround time and attention has been first-rate but I do wish Santa had something a bit nicer for me this Christmas (lump of coal would have been preferable!).
Still, could be worse, I got a little Chewbacca in my Star Wars Advent calender this morning so that was good π
Sorry about this but you still have your sense of humour and that's worth its weight in gold. Chewbacca how lovely.
I lot has happened in my 63 years and always try and find a positive from a negative. Even if it's something silly like seeing my first grey wagtail drinking out of my pond.or a happy memory.
There's an old saying laugh and the world laughs with you ,cry on your ......... own.

Thanks Dante, I do try to find the positives otherwise it all gets a bit much.
Youβve cheered me up. πOn the 3rd day of Christmas my body gave to me, pulled chest muscle, paracetamol and my ton of medication with porridge. ππ§βπ
On the 4th day of Christmas I am waiting for the postman to bring me an appointment just the same as Thee..
Hello
I am in the same boat I will get my appointment this week for an MRI ( stress ) Like you Angina has returned after CABG in 2015 Stents in 2018, did get a new pill Isosorbide to go with the rest !! is there a difference MRI v CT or are they the same ??
Bit I didn't like on my Cardiologist letter This is to Guide the Intervention Approach!!
he does say this Gentleman has Complex Coronary Anatomy (tell me about it ) LOL
Thanks Prada and merry Christmas to you too, nothing like a raft of tests to raise your Christmas spirits! Don't know about test differences I'm afraid last time I went straight from angiogram to CABG so this will be my first cardio CT. The specialist said 'let's do a cardio CT rather than angiogram as less chance to give you a stroke' hohoho π!
Hope you get your angina sorted, jokes aside it's not much fun when it returns.
