Hi I have been Through a very stressful separation.

I’ve noticed that my blood pressure has crept up

And feel anxious what is the best thing to do.

I am 61 normally go to gym and manual worker.

I’m A good weight

135/80 is my blood pressure at mo.

That does not sound worryingly high to me. If it has increased by much above normal you could contact your GP, or have a word with the BHF nurses.I am sorry to hear about your experience, and hope things improve for you soon.

Hi. Am in the same position as you.Got a lot of stressful situations going on at the moment.

Felt dizzy, lightheaded so took blood pressure 147/79 😳

Always had low to normal blood pressure.

Managed to get appointment with nurse. Still high.

Been told to measure is 2 times a day for next 5 days and get docs appointment if still high but not to bother unless it is consistently over 140.

So far so good. At home I’m in the 135 range which can come down to 128 if I calm myself down so onwards and upwards!!
