Sorry you have posted this before, and have had replies. Your bio doesn’t say where you are or what heart issues you have. You need to expand on why you can’t book an eye exam, and why you are posting on the heart forum.

You need to pay for an eye examination if you're not pension age.

You don't need a card if you're a British citizen or have been given permission to be in the UK. Everyone has to pay for their glasses, with no discount for being old.

Eye examination are free for all in Scotland. Unemployed our persons on universal credits will also have free examination

Please just go to an optician so they can advise of anything you may need beside yourself and subsequently check your eyes. Once done you can say "Been to the opticians, had an eye test, got the T-shirt" and optionally "Got my glasses"!

Make an ID card, get a blank card and write ID Card on it.

Phone specsavers and make an appointment, when they tell you an ID Card isn't needed, throw the card in the bin and go to your appointment.
