After waiting 1 year and 6 months and 3 courses of antibiotics, I have eventually got 2 teeth out today ,was very afraid, but thank goodness it went well. After H.A. and stent and a high dose of blood thinner, cardiologist said I couldn't get any teeth extraction until I finished tiagelor, which was 1 year treatment...what a relief today to have them gone ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Congratulations! I bet that feels better ! My heart attack was in April and I am now on my second course of antibiotics due to a bust up wisdom tooth . During the beginning of the pandemic the tooth broke got infected badly so bad that the trauma in my jaw made it impossible to open my mouth fully . When that cleared I ended up filling the tooth myself . Itโ€™s a bit of a nightmare isnโ€™t it .. thankfully yours is now over ! So congratulations and well done for braving the dentist!

So pleased for you, Sunny. I have severe peridontitis so my teeth are falling out one by one,,, but fortunately I have a sympathetic dentist. And I'm currently only on aspirin as a blood thinner!

Yay, so pleased that things are moving forward for you. 3 weeks ago I had to stop Rivaroxaban. During a check up at my dentist, I mentioned a lump in my mouth. The surgeon at my local hospital diagnosed polyps which needed removing. Long story short, they were removed from inside my cheek, and biopsy was clear. My biggest concern was stopping the Rivaroxaban, which I did for 2 days. 3 weeks on and all is healed and well. x

Well done for going to the dentist for a check up. If your dentist has checkup appts available- please please go. Practices have not dialled back all the extra Covid stuff and your story shows how important it is to get checked and follow up on anything unusual.
