Hi Gompa did your angina improve when you had the stents inserted?
To some extent but as I say still having issues with no real explanation. Just had another angiogram which is clear as was echo cardiogram.ecg OK as well.given new extra drugs so will see how I am on those.one concern for me is my heart rate is around 47 at rest.i will keep posted as to how I get on.
You really have to have a cardiologist willing to spend that extra time to do pressure tests on arteries. But they do try to avoid angiograms and spin the wheel to see which medication to try next. Sad to say, not everyone fits their preconceived box. In the meantime, we get told things like, live with it, it's in your mind, not possible. I have this formula when angina gets bad, distract, change body position, then gtn spray. When I start rating pain levels, then ambulance. Keep fighting for a solution, take care. Moni
Thanks i had never heard of microvascular angine until joining this forum,i will keep in mind if things dont improve,
Microvascular and vasospastic angina are worth asking your Cardiologist to consider if you experience ongoing chest pain.
