Groovy piece of information from todays study; the damage detectors in the body (nociceptors) also produce chemicals to repair tissues. There are receptors in the heart that recognise low oxygen and angina is produced as a warning pain. These receptors produce chemicals that generate the growth of new blood vessels. How brilliant is that?

Just wonderful. It almost suggests a toast. Our bodies are amazing. I often stop abd think how lucky I am to be here after a 55 minute wait for Portsmouth ambulance to come to my aid.But when they did they were marvellous abd the team of people who put the stents in. Have to give myself a pinch sometimes. Abd behind the scenes our bodies are working little miracles

Thank you fir that very uplifting message. Xxx
