Palpitations with a low heart rate?

I was rushed to hopsital with a heart rate of 150 during sleep a couple times. I thought it may be my medications so I've lowered it. Now as I've lowered it I'm now on the lowest dose. I've had to stop taking my betablocker because my heart rate whilst sat down was regularly getting into the 50s. Now my resting heart rate is still pretty low so it's low 60s without. But I can feel my heart beat most of the time. I'm very aware of my heart beat even when it's low. And without the betablockers my heart rate with movement shoots up to over 100. With sustained movement it settles but its more short burts of movement. I don't know if I should still be taking me betablockers or not? Or if its just anxiety.

Hi,Do you mean you've stopped taking medication yourself? Without your gp's advice, or have you been told to stop taking it? Sorry.....just a wee bit unclear
