Yes this is a heart forum b ut if you find out anything, I'd love to know. Had Lyme since 1964; wheelchair for 30 years

sorry 1964! 56yrears , i have had Lyme 34yrs-asthma 72. did you get diagnosed? are you in UK or USA? do you get any treatment? I am at the stage of feeling I need a wheelchair. Thanks for your kind words , take care, x jacqui

Had the typical bulls eye rash on return from USA after hunting deer with a friend. ( I'm in U K where it was barely known then) Diagnosed by a dermatologist but no treatment. Because it's so long ago I can't get treatment now because obviously it hides from tests and the tests are useless anyway.. They say they know nothing about long term Lyme. I hope the rheumatology forum can help you. I've given up even trying. I'm on here following a heart attack.

yes pretty hopeless getting help for Lyme-they know nothing-co=infections and how it changes forms. Sorry about heart attack-afraid I am having a few problems in that dept-nothing serious-just nagging little pains in left side of heart, but we carry on. Take care, xx

Get that heart checked. I was breathless. GP insisted it was from my spine. WRONG.
