I was fitted wit a St Jude prosthetic in 1995 (aged 15) and sadly it seems that it may be beginning to wear and tear after 25 years great service. Anyone else experience a re-do / re-fit of prosthetic valve?

I have been curious about the same thing ..35 years is amazing. Good thing is technology has moved on...will be interested to know what folk say. Keep safe...
sorry typo! It is 25 years, still a long time. Just concerned that I may have to have it replaced and undergo surgery again, or endure a reduced quality of life. time will tell I guess, but it does cause anxiety.
