Hi again. Got possible Aortic valve problem. Just had a call. Angiogram booked mid June with pre assessment a couple of days before. Had one in 2008. How do they do it now. Any experiences ? Would really help. Thanks.

Preference is via the wrist now, better than having to lay flat on your back for a few hours. Lab is usually cold & the staff usually will be asking if you are OK. Always worth asking if you can see what is happening as screens are a lot bigger these days.

Thanks for replying. Was through the groin last time. Although was in 2008. Understand the wrist is much less painful. Just trying to unscramble my head at the moment. Thanks.

Hello Pulsar177

Have already replied to your earlier post about angiogram, had mine via the wrist.

Had my Aortic valve replaced and bypass done 4 years ago.

You will be ok.

Best wishes Pauline

If you are nervous or anxious tell them and am sure they will give you a mild sedative to help.
