I had a takotsubo recently and I also am suffering with complete body spasms ,does anyone else?

I am now under neurology and cardiology but am a mystery, I just wondered if any one else had this or even had body spasms that happen like an epilepsy but I have been assured they are not seizures as I am still aware .it is very confusing not knowing what is going on

Hi Free1239, I totally understand the Takotsubo as I have had 2 episodes. One in 2002 and one in 2020. I did not have the other symptoms that you describe. I hope that they find the cause/answer, and get you feeling well again. Best wishes. Marianne.

Hello I had a takotsubo last November and has taken a few months to recover. I didn’t have your problem but I thought you might be interested in a support group I joined on Facebook. They are an international group, very supportive, always someone to talk to or answer questions and when I left hospital with little information they were wonderful and such a support I do not know what I would have done without this group.
