Cilazapril

Our medical supplier is stopping the supply of cilazapril. So far we haven't been told what will replace it. Anybody have an idea wat we may be given in lieu of cilazapril?

Cilazapril is an ACE Inhibitor that is rarely perscribed in the UK. It should be noted the OP is in New Zealand. It has not been prescribed in the USA for a decade.

There is no need for anyone to worry. An an ACE Inhibitor there are plenty of alternatives available to your GP/cardiologist. They may even try a more modern ARB.

Note: Cilazapril was phased out in the UK between August 2013 and October 2014. Most people on it were changed to Lisinopril or Enalapril at the time.
