Good afternoon everyone. Ive been referred to Royal Stoke hospital for tests prior to having a TAVR. I have BAV and severe stenosis. Has anyone been through the tests at Stoke? I’m due to meet consultant/surgeon and have 3 different types of CT scan including the one they slow your heart down for. I know I can’t drive for a while afterwards, but if anyone has an idea of how long that would be a help. I must confess I’m a bit worried in case they say I can’t have the surgery, I have calcification in several places. I’m just really getting this off my chest and hoping to touch base with anyone who’s been/goes to Stoke. Thanks ❤️
