I felt sudden pain in my back like something grabbed my heart and squashed it (middle to left side, just where the heart is), than stopped feeling my hands (my left was like gone) and noticed my veins are empty and than i felt like i am losing consciousness. That lasted not more than 5 seconds, and than i felt my heart pounding and got a short panic attack like 5min max (cold sweat, pale skin). My blood pressure was normal. Made ECG at home (I am a programmer made one myself with 3 leads that i can place and check v1 to v6) and it was normal for me. This is happening to me third time this month, always random when i am resting or watching TV. I have somewhat dynamic T wave (maybe just a little bit inverted in v2 and v3 but that is rare and after having an n95 mask and walking and after lying down for a minute or two my ecg returns to normal). I have delta wave (but it does not count as WPW since a lot of doctors told me i dont fit the criteria for wpw). Tropanins and ck-mb is always low so not one doctor is concerned about my dynamic t wave. I am not fat but i am a smoker (15ciggs a day). My triglycerides are low (always have been). I am almost certain my heart stopped, I usually can feel my extrasystoles with compensation and can feet it on my pulse (the pause) but this is not that, this is with pain and almost loosing consciousness and my hands ware gone i could not feel them while the pain was there and that was 3 to 5 sec probably. Anyone have any idea what it can be, my doctors are baffled. Image is one of million ecg's that I have done just as an example of the dynamic T wave (it is not inverted but you will get what i mean).

Why won't they do an Angiogram? Sounds to me like a blockage somewhere or at least a possible narrowing. Surely it needs to be checked with such symptoms. Go see another Doc if the current guy is not listening.

I would be looking for a top notch cardiologist to get to the bottom of this. Best wishes and i hope you get an answer and hopefully a solution as a priority.

Hi I had a similar thing I think but basically my heart stopped for 3 seconds at a time including whilst sleeping. I had a reveal monitor inserted through my neurologist as I had experienced a possible TIA. Following the episodes I had a pacemaker fitted it was after some digging that they realised it was sarcoidosis which caused the heart block. Have they looked at this as a possibility because it is a difficult disease to diagnose.

interesting, do you have an ecg i can see from you before the pacemaker? I have look into this and they told me I dont have the symptoms nor the blood work for sarcoidosis.

Hi I would have to pull out the paperwork as I did take legal action against the hospital because it took 3 years to diagnose. With sarcoidosis it doesn’t always show on the blood work. I personally think you need a reveal monitor inserted because this will pick things up and you should then have a pacemaker. I had the pacemaker before sarcoidosis was diagnosed. The cardiologist do need to take your condition seriously. By the time I had an MRI scan of my heart it did not show sarcoidosis interference but the specialist have said that it was most likely reason I was getting heart block.

Wow! Sarcoidosis! My wife was diagnosed with this in 2005. She had lost 25kg in 18 months. They mis-diagnosed her with cancer. Long story short, she lost 30% of her lungs due to scar tissue. And the treatment was almost worse than the disease! Very high dose steroids for 5 years. She blew up like a balloon. It was awful. But it saved her life. I was not aware this could also cause heart problems. Thx for bringing this to our attention.

Sarcoidosis can be caused by environmental factors so you could have both been affected. Good luck
