Hi, I’ve got my bypass surgery done on 1/12/2020 and it’s some heavy kind of feeling but it doesn’t hurt. I was just wondering if it’s normal or what to do about it. Please do let me know, Thank you.

As is usual from what I've read and been told - how we respond to surgery is a very individual affair. Courtesy of some complications, I got to enjoy 6 weeks watching people having a variety of procedures and experience different outcomes, from one gentleman who was desperate to have a shower as soon as the feed tubes had been removed, to another gentleman who was on pain killers for a week or so.
If you've been lucky enough to have such a positive outcome, you are a lucky person. I would say I was also lucky, but my complications meant I spent the first 6 weeks post surgery enjoying a coma and heavily anaethetised awake session - so i could've experienced pain had I been awake 😉
