I take 50mg of Losartan, I normally take before bed but have recently been getting palpitations which gp thinks is linked to the Losartan ( ecg etc all came back clear)
Anyone else had problems taking at night? Or do people prefer to take it in the morning?

Did you have a 24 hour BP monitor. It may have shown it rose during the night. Mine is always high in the morning. I've been taking Losartan since around 2006. After trying many that did not agree with me Losartan has been problem free.
Hi… In the past couple of years I’ve had palpitations, on and off, which have been investigated thoroughly and found to be completely benign and ‘possibly’ linked to anxiety, according to the specialist (they were the ‘missed beat’ type). If your ECG was normal I would be somewhat reassured by that because there’s a good chance that these may not be related to the drugs… but I’d ask for a referral to a palpitation clinic to be certain… 🙂
I take mine at 2pm, mostly due to BP dropping too low if taken am or pm, because I take Bisoprolol at 8am & 8pm, tried a few different times but this worked for me.
