It is Iess than a week since having two stents. I am finding that despite wearing thermal gloves, my fingers go white half way along on both hands when out for a walk. Prior to stents it happened on index finger on one hand. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it the blood thinners?
I am going to try a pair of wool gloves inside thermal ones on next excursion. It is annoying and takes a while to warm them up again.

As Bradee12 says mittens are definitely the best. I wear ski mittens and warm them on a hot water bottle before I set off. If it's very cold I still come back with white fingers and I'm thinking of getting some wool mittens to wear under the ski ones.
Used to get before my HA & stents, but much worse after. One of the meds can cause it (Ticagrelor?) but the body adjusts. My GP thinks that it’s more down to the general disruption of the blood system.
I use disposable hand warming bags, that look like tea bags, from outdoor stores or Amazon. Brilliant!
Remember to put gloves on and/or activate pad while you are still warm- it hurts most (lots😟) when the circulation returns!
Have been on to doc who has now reduced my Bisoprolol to half the previous dosage, which is what I was proposing to try anyway. He seemed unaware that a runny nose is a side effect too. Have got inner woolly gloves to line thermal ones and will put in microwave to heat before walking.Interestingly within 10 minutes of phoning the surgery this morning, I got a call back from the doctor on duty. There are some advantages to the current situation with COVID as usually it was a week before you could get a GP appointment unless extremely urgent.
