Hi everyone, new to this site. Had ICD fitted last April after SCA. No problems since but still not had driving licence back. Apparently consultant hasn't completed the forms. I realise Covid 19 is taking priority - so much so that I haven't had a follow up with Cardiologists - but is this usual in your experience. Had letter re section 88 so I'm able to drive, just don't have a licence.

Hi Deacon. My ICD was pre-covid so this problem didn't exist then, but the consultant will still be doing paperwork. See if you can get hold of his secretary and ask them to give the consultant a nudge. You should be able to find a phone number on the hospital website.
