All of us with a heart condition need to be extra careful however not all of us need to shield.
Here's the list of who is clinically extremely vulnerable. These people receive a letter to tell them to shield.

You can contact your GP for further advice.
Hi I live in Scotland, in March when it all began I had cardiomyopathy and severe heart failure, I was on the transplant list but I was not asked to shield, I had to do my own shopping etc, I have now had my transplant and doing well at the moment, but I still have not been told to shield, just be careful, still doing my own shopping, if you are in England they might have a different criteria, take care and stay safe char x
If you need to shield you will have had a letter. Otherwise it's just be extremely careful and stay home as much as possible Order food online if you can. May help to phone the supermarket and ask to go on their vulnerable list.
