What is the new strain of coronavirus, and what does it mean for people with heart conditions?

You may have seen reports in the news and on social media about a new strain of Covid-19 coronavirus that has emerged in the UK, which is spreading more quickly than previous strains.

There is no evidence to suggest that this strain is more deadly than before, or that if you have a heart condition, you're more likely to become seriously ill.
