Unfortunately no medication is without side effects but the fact you have not had another stroke is the best side effect ever!! I get a dry mouth and thirst with my medications too I find grapes, satsumas, and fresh pineapple helps X x

I have been on clopidogrel for years after having TIA's in my early 40's - always wake through the night with very dry throat/cough but thought it may be the ramipril I'm on too as apparently that can be a side effect for some.

I had no trouble with clopidogrel except for stomach pain but I had plenty of problems with ticagrelor which is the alternative I was put on first. Speak to your GP, there are alternatives if it's too annoying.

I take Clopidogrel, have done since my heart attack, no side effects that I would blame Clopidogrel for.
