Explaining Heart Disease to Children

A week or two ago someone asked about explaining their heart issues to their children. I mentioned that I had posted about some suitable books but could not find them. Now I have found them I can't find the original post! So here goes:

There is one called "Zip Line" by David Humphreys about a young girl who has surgery and hence the zip line scar. Another book, again from a child's point of view, is Matty's Heart. It is out of print and fairly expensive now. Both should not scare your children.

I really wish the questions were arranged in a tree structure with appropriate parent and child nodes. ☹️ly it isn't! 😁
