How about this one! I proposed to my Fiancee there. We were due to be Wed earlier this year. May originally. Then we got locked down. We moved it to 28th November 2020. Then on 2nd August I had my Heart Attack. Then we got locked down again so we are currently due to Wed on 12th December 2020. Will find out today if we can have a reception or not depending on which Tier we are in 🤞

Hope you are allowed all three tiers of the cake? 😁 Tradition has it that the bottom tier is for eating at the ceremony 🍰, the middle tier for distributing after the event, and the top tier for saving.

My Diabetes says no to all three tiers! Not in one mouthful! I think if there's ever a year for breaking tradition this is the one! I wasn't aware of that tradition though so thank you. Ps I'm Tier 2!

Hi we do, 0 to 4 not sure myself why we have a zero? Wee Jimmy krankie has not quite explained that, I stay in the central belt and we are in four, our pubs and restaurants selling alcohol haven't been open for months, and no sign of it happening this side of the year, unfortunately 🙄char

In England, a reception of 15 is allowed. Was previously 30. So me, the Boss and 13 guests. But this means we can have a sit down meal have toasts and speeches etc and livestream to others♥️

Livestream can be nearly as good as being there, all the virtual guests miss out on is the cake and champagne.

A friend's son and his bride livestreamed the ceremony and reception and I found it beautiful, moving, and awesome all at the same time. I kept thinking how modern yet meaningful to be a 'virtual guest' to a wedding seven thousand miles away, lol, I felt as though I was in a sci-fi movie viewing the event via streaming but I also felt as though I was right there with the 'live guests' sharing a milestone in the lad's life. I'd known him since his mum was carrying him, watched him grow up, so being able to see that wedding and reception was wonderful.

The couple have since welcomed their firstborn (no livestream of delivery) and they livestreamed her baptism - another awesome moment thanks to modern tech!

Congratulations hopefully everything will go ahead as planned. My granddaughter has been in a similar situation she is getting married now 5th December and we are hoping it all goes ahead as planned. Unfortunately her reception venue can’t fit them in that day so they’d decided to get married with the allowed guest and party later.
