I am feeling in limbo and out of sorts at the moment. I wondered if anyone else was feeling the same?
After my operation got cancelled, I was fine with it all. Came back to my flat in Wales after spending a few days with family, as was hoping to get called back.
Its nearly 2 weeks later. Wales is out of lockdown but the rest of the country is. I am meant to be shielding but live on my own so not 100% practical, but I am limiting my time out. I cannot go back to work and so life feels in limbo and there is this not knowing, my life is on hold. Its overwhelming.
I went for a very short beach walk yesterday just to sort my mind out and get fresh air.
Please tell me, its not just me?

No it most certainly isn't. This waiting bit. You can make plans but can't actually action them until the op is done and dusted. Most definitely limbo land.
Hi, been there, done that... my original op was supposed to be in March, then covid... With one weeks notice in October it was back on. I'm so glad it was done then as it certainly looks like operations are stopped again around here! I am just going to write off 2020!!
You are dealing with such a lot and feeling down and completely fed up is so natural. You are waiting for either the phone to ring or the postman to drop an envelope on your door mat! It will happen, so at the moment try and pamper yourself, nice soak in the bath do a facial do your nails anything to take your mind off time passing.
Hi Tammy, I’m feeling the same, I do have a date, after a long wait, but making myself not get too excited, as I realise and have been told it could get cancelled, so sorry that has happened to you, sending a hug 🤗, and looking forward to seeing a post from you that all is well❤️x
