I took Propranolol 10mg for two weeks and stopped abruptly. Now I’m having very irregular heartbeat and dizziness? Is this common after only being on the medication for such a short time?

I’m new here! Looking for help with Propranolol withdrawal
This sounds unusual. I would think it best to contact your GP. You could also drop the BHF nurses a call - they are around till about 5:00 today and highly knowledgeable.
Thanks! I went to Emergency yesterday and am now hooked up to a Holter monitor at home. They didn’t think it was connected to medication, but I never had anything like this prior to taking and stopping the meds. I heard it was possible and was curious if anyone else had a similar experience. Thank you for responding!
Hi, i am also experiencing lightheadedness and dizzyness after taking Propanolol for almost a month. How are you now? Thank you
Hi! Have you stopped taking the propranolol now? It’s been almost two months sinceI stopped it. I’m feeling much better, but not completely back to normal. Feel free to message me if you’d like to talk more. I understand it’s a good medication for many people, but it was terrible for me and I think doctors should really discuss all the potential problems before prescribing it!
Hi, I'm glad to hear you're feeling better. I stopped taking it a few days ago because it made my blood pressure too low which led to giddiness and blurred vision which I have never had before. I still have it.
I have an overactive thyroid (hence the propranolol)
Thank you
