Since having 3 stents I am taking Clopidogrel, Ramipril. Atenolol,Atorvastatin.
I am male over 80, and suffering headaches, brain fog, and muscular pain which is driving me to distraction.
Anyone share this problem, or overcome it?

The drugs take a couple of weeks to settle down and your body to get acclimatised. Don’t know when you had your stents but pain from bruising is common and a couple of paracetamol should help. If you continue to have difficulties talk through with GP or cardiologist describing your symptoms and get the meds tweaked.
Hi svenson I also take clopidogrel and atenolol , I have been on these meds for over a year and suffer what I think is brain fog! GPs and cardiologist do not think it’s the meds, I have had a head scan that was all clear so I am left to get on with it. I would suggest talk to your GP/ Cardiologist, I hope you get it sorted if you do please let us know. Take care.
Statins can cause muscle pain. I was on Atorvastatin and my left upper arm was painful to move. I changed statins for a different reason but a pleasant side effect was that the arm pain reduced and has now almost totally gone. Might be worth discussing with your cardio nurse or doctor?
