Artery Spasms - Hiatus Hernia

Hi All, especially those with Spasms and HH. Although I have been diagnosed with Spasms, I have also been diagnosed with a 5 cm Hiatal Hernia during a GERD investigation. I am now confused as the HH forum indicates that Hiatal Hernias can sometimes mimic heart pain ie Various Angina's. Now I wonder if some of my very short pain, especially when bending could be the HH and not spasms. Does anyone have a Hiatus Hernia and angina ? Or could any of you comment or advise ??? I am most obliged. My doggie says hello from Singapore

Hi

I have just been diagnosed with HH but only ever plays up at night

I had heart pain in the heart area but once sat up it went and I had a lot of wind

I have folded a double quilt up and put under mattress still able to sleep on my side and have no pain .

Thank you Rose54. Sorry to hear about your HH. They are pretty common however I do not get the acid reflux usually associated with it. Strangely does not affect me at night but often when I bend over or crouch or sometimes during exercise. Many thanks for responding.
