Hi folks, I am 63 and I have Angina and Afib (oh joy) both diagnosed in the last couple of years. Originally on Bisoprolol I changed to Viazem due to fatigue. Initialy I felt like I had a new lease of life coming off the Bisoprolol but that effect didn't really last that long , however I have stuck with the Viazem. At the end of last year I got fed up of the fatigue and my GP referred me back to the cardiac unit. my appointment came in for April (!) and strangely by March my fatigue had improved so much that I was going to cancel the appointment. However, covid struck and the hospital postponed it anyway. I decided to leave it open just in case and finally an appointment came in for July (!) . I was still feeling OK so I cancelled the appointment. Now guess what, a couple of weeks after that I have started having the terrible fatigue again.
I cant blame the Viazem because I was ok for so long so I am thinking its a by product of the afib. I dont get palpatations (well the odd bump) but my heart is in arrhythmia permanently.
Anyone else have this? I am as healthy as I can be , have cut down to a bottle of wine a week, walk regularly , not overweight. Felling a bit frustrated and down (plus I am having problems with my hearing - getting old ain't too much fun).
