Propranolol withdrawal

Hi all.i was on x2 propranolol 40mg for 3months every day then dropped to x1 40 mg for 2 weeks then 20mg for a week then 10mg for a further week then stopped.i was on them for heart palpitations and anxiety.when on them i had terrible side effects,dizziness,chest pains,sore head,weakness,exhausted just a few to name a few.i'm now off them for 3 and a half weeks and feel terrible.first 3 weeks were bad but this week has been the worst so far .sore heads that come and go,exhausted and heavy eyes,heart rate all over the place today especially its up at 100,weak legs,can't think straight again just to name a few.mornings and nights are hellish .is this common withdrawal and side effects after 3 weeks ?any advice would be extremely helpfull.

Hi,Barrie.iam on them right now for Migraine was supposed to take 40gm twice daily but i have asthma and they affected my breathing so was told to take 20gm twice daily ,I was on them last year along with duloxetine for depression and anxiety ,came off them cold turkey I was also on omeprazole at the same time so the doc said it was ok to come off all 3 cold turkey ,WRONG thing it almost killed me,brain zaps, dizziness, migraine,pains all over my body, crying, anger then the depression kicked in,really though I was dying, it lasted for almost all off this year when I was forced to go back on the Propranalol for migraine.I am now in the throws of weaning myself off them again,I am now taking 10gm daily feeling ok so far.hang in there you will come through it,take loads of baths and go for long walks and just cry it makes you feel better lots of hugs.
