High serum urea levels.

These are monitored as part of my blood pressure checks and for years now have hovered around 5.5 with the last one at this level in Oct 2019. Yesterday’s reading was 8.1! What exactly is this reading and why the massive jump! Any advice would be most helpful.

Same here always around 5 or 6 ....6.6 last August ....up to 7 .2 this week 🤔

Thank u. I subsequently spoke to the GP and he said to ignore it as it was a hot day yesterday and I was probably a bit dehydrated as we were in the car for most of it. It probably wasn’t help by the Sugary glucozade sports drink that I did drink (found in my son’s spirts bag)! Thanks again.
