Having an MRI scan with a Loop recorder fitted

Hi,

I had a loop recorder (Reveal Linq) fitted a few weeks ago. I now need a MRI brain scan and my stroke consultant said yesterday that this was problematic with a loop recorder, but he wasn't sure of the details. He thought the MRI would wipe the data from the loop recorder and it would have to be re-set afterwards...I thought the loop recorder uploaded recordings every night (I have a monitor on my bedside table). Does anyone have any experience of this please?
