Veins on legs fading - scars showing

Hi. I am 14 weeks after a quadruple bypass and wondered how long it takes for the scars to start to fade anyone any experience of this! Thks all

How long are the scars in your leg

Hubby’s scars on his leg have almost faded completely after 2 years, we used E45 cream and bio oil on them. His chest zip is still visible, more so at the bottom end than the top. The lower end is lumpy.

I think it depends a lot on how you personally heal.

His scar also irritated him and the nerves caused a few problems.

Hi, had my AVR and bypass nearly 4 years ago, they harvested the artery from my chest so only have the one scar on my chest can still see it but very faint now, when I feel my chest one side seems higher than the other can’t see by just looking but by touch. Been told just where they joined me back together with the wire.

I used bio oil, and that seemed to help.
