I have Atrial collapse which is a 7 year degenerative condition before collapse. The condition trigger is nutrition. Move towards nutrition and not calories. I monitor BF, BMI and weight every morning and look at a 1 month trend on my phone then adjust my nutrients . I have been told that compression stockings double the rate of your execercise. That’s useful in lockdown. Keep safe Murray

What's BF please?
Compression stockings may be relevant for people who are pregnant, have varicose veins, etc. The length and the level of compression needs to be determined by a qualified medical practitioner.
They will not improve exercise rate or calories burned.
Is there a dictionary of acronyms anywhere for heart conditions? I don’t know what 90% of them mean.
Hi Henry,
A Pinned Post about abbreviations was put up last year:

Although I am familiar with most of them BF has me stumped as I can only think of Burkina Faso and boy friend.
That has me thinking. They are prescribed for GPs who have diagnosed hypotention to restrict blood pooling. However 1 pair prescription is a bit smelly. They are available by the same levels at sports shops who sell them for accelerating muscle development. Without having a level on them some walking socks and all rugby socks have a compression capability. Football socks don’t. Food for thought and a good point. The sports shops advice is 1 hour only
Sorry its on many reports as Body fat. There are Body Mass Index and Water on the scales. It just comes up as BF.
