Feeling wishy washy, what can I take?

I know but you lot will probably know.

I lost count of the number of board meetings I had yesterday.

I’m feeling like a teddy bear with the stuffing ripped out of it.

Can I take, as a complicated cardiac patient, anything to restore my electrolytes (such as dioralyte etc?)?

I’m conscious of the problems taking over the counter cold remedies with my pharmacology.

Thanks.

The best person to ask is your Pharmacist, they will know your drugs & interactions/contra indications etc.

Yeah @gaz_chops, thanks but I was hoping to short cut speaking to my hospital.

You don’t need to speak to the hospital! Call your local chemist that issues your drugs.

I agree with the others that you need to ask your pharmacist. As you are on a diuretic, Furosemide, I would suggest you are do not self prescribe rehydration products without advice.

For the time being I suggest you rest up and, unless you are on a fluid restriction, drink a few glasses of plain water.

Electrolyte problems can only accurately be diagnosed by blood tests.

Take your meds 💊
