Just two questions 😊

Hi there,

Just a couple of things to ask, since having my SCA 8 weeks ago I am quite lightheaded still probably worse when I close my eyes, my GP has tested me and can’t find anything, does anyone else suffer this is it like a Hypoxia?.

And the second question is. I had an ICD fitted 7 weeks ago, and was just wondering when I can ride my horse again ! Every medical person I ask they say I don’t know, they have been asked about sling, hockey, and football but don’t know about horse riding has anyone got a horse they ride with a ICD

Thank you 😊

Hello and welcome to the forum!

What drugs are you on? They could be causing the light-headedness. Have you a BP monitor as it may be hypotension.

I would have thought you should be able to ride your horse after about three months if you are free of the light-headedness but maybe not sportier variants like show jumping and polo. Personally I prefer something like a Harley as you are not so far off the ground, it has brakes and doesn't do random things!

Is that the Yahama? If I recall correctly BMW's R1 never got into production.

My biker days are effectively over. Because of the PAD (peripheral arterial disease) my surgeon said a break below the knee may never heal! My left femur has titanium plates and screws in it.

Sorry no ideas on the dizziness. Take care...
