Last few months running has become impossible without chest pains and becoming breathless.

For some reason my fitness has took a nosedive over the last 2 months. I had a double stent fitted in Feb last year. I was back running and boot camping after 6 weeks. Training up to 10k again not as fast, around the hour mark as I didn't want to push it. I had been at the 48 min mark before the stents. Yesterday's run was 2 k in 16 mins and had to walk several times as I had chest pains and unable to get my breathing right. During and after the run I felt like I'd been hit by a train. Couod this be another heart related issue?

Thanks for the reply. This could be the issue, I had a really bad cough which turned into some form of chest infection at the end of Jan.
