Interesting article. My 16 year old son is waiting for a repair on his tricuspid valve. He’d just been approved for surgery before the lock down. I’m keeping him in and safe as he gets very short of breath, hate to think how he’d struggle with the virus.

Stay safe everyone.

Hi ALucy

Good luck to him, I hope it all goes well when it’s done

Interesting, helpful article, thank-you for posting the link.

I have 'trivial' scarring on my aortic valve thanks to Rheumatic Heart Syndrome and I found the article more informative as to why my cardiologist said 'Not a worrying factor'. He is admittedly very busy the now so I didn't keep asking 'But why?' when he said of all my heart conditions, the valve scarring isn't a worry. So reading this article gave me more information as to why he said that.

Thank-you.
