Elerenone reaction?

Gingercats profile image
2 Replies

I was prescribed Elerenone 25mg on my last visit to HeartClinic I have had severe diarrhoea for the last 2/3 weeks and my doctor has advised me to stop them for a few days to see if it settles down then restart them so we can see if this is what’s causing the problem. Has anyone else experienced this problem.

Thanks for the reply. I stopped taking them today and already feel better obviously not for me. Will do as advised by GP go back in them in a few days just to make sure they are the problem. Maybe they will prescribe an alternative.
