We have not done the medical bit of lasting power of attorney. In these strange times when many of us feel helpless to support others, thinking about how you would like your health care to be managed is something very positive I feel we can do to help family and health care professionals. It will avoid the headline grabbing straplines "My mother was asked to sign a DNR we are so upset" the link below pays particular concern to Covid19 but there are lots of sites with downloadable templates and Age UK is a good source of info for the older amongst us.

I have every intention of surviving to see the Brave New World on the other side so for me this is a positive step
