Hi, just want to ask some advice, it might be relevant to others on this site. I had HA ( inferior stemi) 4 years ago and had PPCI with 2 stents to RCA andCx. Meds low dose asprin, statin 80mg ,Bisoprolol 1.25mg and Candesartan 2mg. Have been fine till just recently when I have been having very mild intermittent chest pain on my left side with very occasional tingling in left arm and throat sometimed hours apart, at time of HA I was told LAD was clear but the upper artery was 70% blocked could this nowpossibly be worse. Has anyone else had this, should I see doctor or try and contact the consultant asap.
Thank you for reading , any answers would be great.

If you have been discharged from the care of the cardiologist back to the GP then you have to go to the GP first who may then choose to re-refer you. If you are still under the care of the cardiologist then you can bypass the GP and go direct to the cardiologist .
However if you consider your symptoms are truly serious and possibly life threatening at any time you should visit A&E.
I wonder the same that you could have possibly have been discharged now after 4 years if not I would try and contact the Consultant but I would contact my Doctor as well it sounds it needs investigating
I hope everything turns out okand do let us know how you get on x
I would think that you may need to go through the process again starting with your GP as you will most likely have been discharged back to the care of your GP. It certainly looks like you need further investigation. When I had my HA which was caused by a blood clot in my narrowed RCA, it was noted that I had narrowing on the left side and I was referred for a bypass op which I had 11 months later. I was offered stents as an alternative to surgery, but chose to go with surgery as it offered a better outcome in the long term.
I recently had the same worry and went to my GP. He sent me for an echo scan and a holter monitor which I got very quickly. I had previously had HA and two stents but was told two other blockages at 65% were fine but I'm always concerned they may have worsened. I couldn't have seen a consultant as I'd been discharged and didn't even know his name. I never even saw him to speak to.
Thank you to all for the replies, much appreciated, spoke to my doctor with symtons and she advised to go to A&E where tests were done and all ok ,so a bit of a mystery in the end.
