Just to balance things a bit. We have a wonderful local volunteer group, ready to help with almost anything needed. No little dictators visible! Not yet!
We had been in a very difficult situation, with my heart, and my husband on immunosuppressants, no supermarket delivery slots etc etc.
They have been a life line. Organising fresh veg and fruit for us and doing our visits to our dependant aged relatives, drug deliveries for all of us, and more.
Absolutely brilliant. This crisis has bought out the best in many people.

Thats good to know there are lots of helpful committed people. I was going to collect my prescription last Friday and thought I would call Pharmacy to ask what there quiet time was as I wanted to avoid close contact with people. It's a very small local Pharmacy but staff are 1st class. The pharmacist made sure my prescription was made up but noticing the heart meds told me not to call and she would bring them to me. I was fully prepared to collect being fortunate to be relatively fit but small gestures mean a lot as well. Local Pharmacies often top big nationals. You take care
I too have a small local Chemist phoned yesterday to say mine and husbands repeat prescriptions were due, what do I do? they said did we need all items I said yes she said that was fine both prescriptions would be delivered to us on Thursday. Was a bit shell shocked thought I would have to organise a kind neighbour to pickup, at least! That’s at least one worry I can cross off my list!
