COVID. some (possible!) good news

Been reading that an anti malaria drug, that’s been widely available for many years (Chloroquine) has been used with ‘some positive results’ against coronavirus.

Both french and South Korean authorities have seen success.

It’s far too early to get the bunting out! but it’s a possible light at the end of the long dark tunnel.

I believe there at least four or five existing drugs that will all, potentially, alleviate the effects of Covid-19. The won't stop us becoming infected, but they may significantly mitigate the symptoms and dramatically speed up recovery time.

If the world really comes together on this, co-ordinates research and shares results, I'm hopeful that before too long we'll be hearing of some encouraging breakthroughs.
