back in Early Feb I came down with a particularly nasty virus, This is how it developed:- "Heavy" headache, temperature, complete fatigue, very very dry throat, not sore, but like nothing i've experienced before, then a few days in diarrhoea (like water) lasted half a day, then cough (after about three days of initial symptoms), dry to begin with then rattling cough with a large amount of phlegm which was very thick and some spotting of blood( but not alarming amounts). Then what I can only assume was a urinary infection just couldn't stop going for a wee and up about 8 times in the night, this stopped after a day, felt very uncomfortable whilst it lasted. Then the very last symptom was labyrinthitis swaying and unbalanced for about 3 days. I felt confused and unable to take on information and continued to be very tired and unable to do anything except the basics for about 3 weeks in total. I had about 4 days off work. Had I thought I had Coronavirus i would have had longer but the information about symptoms weren't that clear then. My husband who has heart failure didn't appear to get the virus, whatever it was except for a bit of a runny nose and possible urinary infection. Was this Coronavirus? and if it was would I have antibodies in my system is it possible to test for this? I also work in care with people with learning disability and physical disability + . So may be useful to know. I believe I picked up this virus (whatever it was) at work. I took paracodol for about a week but nothing else, except fluids but nothing seemed to help the dryness in my throat, I used throat sweets and anything sugary in the end to ease the discomfort. Any thoughts would be very welcome.

Have I had coronavirus?
Interesting about arrhythmia, theory!
I would say Yes to the cough/headache/fever and No to the urinary infection/labyrinthitis. I believe the coronavirus was here before Christmas from what I have read.
Our whole family came down with something similar just after Christmas and my mum who has heart failure had a racking cough three loads of antibiotics/steroids nothing worked. At the minute we are all fine. Here's to hoping we have developed an immunity to it.
My eldest also works with adults with complex needs.
That's interesting, however I have heard from other people that they had diarrhoea, ear infection after going through same start of the illness, My friend who started with same symptoms a couple of days before me ended up with a ear infection that she had to have antibiotics for, she has underlying health problems.
I’m sure you’re right. I was taken ill on Christmas Day with a very unusual cold/flu. I made my husband sleep in the spare room and we both kept away from everyone for three weeks. I just took the usual cold remedies and eventually got better. My sister had the same symptoms and did the same self isolating.
