What should you do if you have hospital and GP appointments during this period?

We advise everyone to access medical assistance remotely, wherever possible. However, if you have a scheduled hospital or other medical appointment during this period, talk to your GP or clinician to ensure you continue to receive the care you need and consider whether appointments can be postpone

I have a Hospital Appointment for next week which I am going to keep unless I am notified not to. Sure lots of us are over 70 with underlying Health Conditions !!!

Hi

I was referred to surgeon following cardio consultation on 28 Feb. Telephoned last thur that appt today. Later on Thursday telephoned to be told consultation would be by telephone.

(I was telephoned again on Fri 14th to tell me that consultation was to be by telephone, then I received appointment letter (for face to face) on the Saturday!)

Today had telephone consultation, during which the surgeon said that all elective surgery is postponed indefinitely (I need BAV & Aortic Aneurysm graft) - It may vary according to your Health Authority - I would ring up to check if I were you.

I have a cardiologist appointment on Friday had an automated call on Saturday asking if I was still attending have to say thought it was going to say cancelled !
