I am religious myself so it's nice to see I'm not alone in faith:)

But I believe the old adage 'The Lord helps those who help themselves' - while I pray I will also be practising strict good hygiene and now the virus appears to be escalating, I will also practise yet more 'social distancing' than has been my admittedly Lady Curmudgeon hermit-like habits previously.

Laughing but fully serious - my husband and I both are introverts and intend to become more so during this crisis.

strict Hygiene is a must regardless of religion or illnesses it helps the spreading of germs I just wondering why so much garbage is lying around near schools and shops this is 2020 it should be much cleaner

It is so shocking to me when I see all the litter floating around on our streets and pavements - I've seen people (children and teens but also older people who should know better) casually toss a wrapper or soda cup to the floor right next to a rubbish bin, grrrr! One or two extra steps to get it in the bin, why is that so difficult?!

I know some of the litter is down to seagulls raiding bins but honestly it really is mostly people who are the culprits. Shameful, truly shameful!

I sometimes pick up litter and bin it if I have spare disposable gloves in my pocket or day bag but if it looks 'wet' I won't do that even with gloved hands - you just never know what made that litter 'wet' and I can't afford to take chances.

:( Sad world we find ourselves in these days. Very sad.

I’ve visited China and Hong Kong many times and have always been told to be careful of holing hand rails and door handles. Always wash hands when you get in from an excursion out. The Chinese always wear masks when they have a cold or infection. They have always taken care not to pass germs on because it’s such a highly populous country. I never caught anything over there. It doesn’t surprise me that a one hundred year old has lived to tell the tale. If we all act responsibly we’ll get through this.

I lived in China for nearly 2 years what a dirty dingy place it is. They would sweep the street at Night all the rubbish to one end and the next Night they would sweep it back !!! When I asked a Highly educated Engineer why not pick it up The answer and what would the sweepers do tomorrow !!!

I went to a wedding party and on the menu was Snake and barbecued Rat honest I am not kidding. My wife when she came out to visit would not go into the wet market because of the smell and all the Live animals for sale !!!

regards

I was in Li bin Guanxi Provence not to far from Guallin a major tourist spot.

Yes they had snake on the menu and dog but we didn’t eat it. Millions starved to death during Chairman Mao’s leadership. I don’t know what I would eat if I were starving.
