Having been diagnosed a year ago, despite showing no symptoms I.e. breathlessness, chest pain, dizziness, my cardiologist has advised me to avoid isometric exercises. I have been practising yoga for several years and understand that yoga features many such exercises. Other than walking and swimming what else can l do to stay fit and maintain muscle. As a 68 year old woman I am somewhat concerned.
