Left Bundle Branch Block and Fatigue

Recently diagnosed with Hypertension which im on now on meds for & LBBB, which im being seen by cardiologist in April as an outpatient. I'm a busy 41 year old mum and I'm severely struggling with severe fatigue and feeling weak, to the point that's having an impact on daily life. Has anyone else suffered with this and if so, what helped?

Hi I too was diagnosed with LBBB and often feel exhausted but I have a B12 deficiency too which was discovered at the same time so never really know if it’s that or LBBB

I too seem to have good days and bad days. I'm also finding that on bad days, I wake up feeling physically exhausted at it lasts all day, and other days where I'm ok one moment and then out of nowhere, the fatigue hits and hits hard and the simplistic task can feel overwhelming and to much. My arms go heavy, my legs to, my back aches and my eyes feel overtired. and I'm mainly finding it hits in an afternoon or early evening.

Hi I to have a lbbb didn’t know I was anything but fit and active until I had a ha a week before Xmas and a stent fitted the same day now on the usual 7 drugs but I fall asleep 2/3 times a day and feel exhausted all the time .the only thing I know I can achieve every day is a walk of around a mile with the dog everything else happens when I can . I do what I can and if it doesn’t then it’s still there tomorrow. I’ve been told it will take a year to get back to being myself so at the moment if the body is saying sleep I’m doing it

I'm SO tired its ridiculous, like having the flu kind of tired, but without the fever etc. and I really have to dig deep to fight it. I've also noticed on an ecg on Monday, it shows abnormalities of LBBB, but also Left Axis Deviation & Inferior Infarct - Date Undetermined, which to me seems alarming!. I'm sincerely hoping my first cardiologist appointment in April, will shed some light cuz atm, all I know is I have LBBB & Hypertension and so I'm feeling like a scared mushroom in a dark cupboard

Sorry to hear your feeling this way..I was diagnosed with LBBB in 2007, I must be very lucky because it has never affected me in any way. At the time no one seemed concerned about it so I put it out of my mind... even forgetting to include it in my holiday medical insurance : { all they said was to mention it if I have an ecg... and I recently found out my daughter has it to.

I also have lbbb as well as heart valve problems. It only came to light when I had a heart spasm and was given an ecg, which showed it straight away. I often have tired days, and good ones related to the amount I've been doing, but I'm not sure if it is this cause or my general heart condition.

Hi, I have LBBB also it was found when I was on the verge of a cardiac arrest last May. I also have left ventricle systolic dysfunction( LVSD moderate) and moderate HF with an EF of 35%. All this was mild last year.

In fact I was on my stepper doing 5000 steps to bouncing tunes before I had my latest Echo at the beginning of this year. I am now ready for bed by 7pm. I am 46/single parent and cannot get my head around it at all.

I have recently had a 72 hour holter monitor to catch any event with my heart as it drops to 35bpm and goes as high as 175bpm and drops in the 20's/30's throughout the day. I am waiting on further treatment and possibly an ICD as I cannot take any medication. I am in the process of finishing an MA and I need answers ASAP. my life is in Limbo more ways than one including this pandemic which might have given me a bit of extra time.

#Positive attitude what's meant to be will find a way..
