Just hoping to hear some positive experiences from people in a similar situation.
I take Lisinopril 30mg and Bisoprolol 10mg for heart failure (LBBB) I also had a CRT-P implanted 3 weeks ago. My worry is that meds aren’t helping and the implant hasn’t made any difference yet. What other treatments are available apart from meds and CRT implant?
Look forward to your replies
Thanks

I totally agree with Thatwasunexpected. I've just finished going to stage 3 cardio rehab yesterday, and while not smoking, limiting alcohol, having a good diet, healthy BMI are all very important, exercise is paramount. I started off in rehab feeling and probably looking like an advert for a zombie movie but left feeling totally different.

Hi, sometimes you need to add more to the medicine cocktail. My husband found adding a diuretic (spironolactone) to his Lisinopril and Bisoprolol made a huge difference. It was suggested by the BHF nurses who signposted the NICE guidelines for us and he asked his Cardiologist about it. It may not be suitable for you and your own particular condition, but I’d suggest chatting things through with the nurse helpline next week. Their number is 0300 330 3311. Also, keep a daily diary of your BP, activity and how you feel so you have some objective data to discuss with your doctor.
